If you were ever associated with the Boy Scouts, you will recognize this list as the Twelve Points of the Scout Law. These are also important guidelines for your conduct as an engineer. Your boss, colleagues and customers will observe these qualities and respect you when they see these points put into practice.
Another important thing is the Scout Motto: Be Prepared

There is nothing like preparing yourself physically, mentally, morally, and emotionally for a job. You will be far ahead of most who don’t consider preparation much before attempting a project or challenge. Finally, the Scout Slogan is the action part empowered by the Law and Motto:
Do a Good Turn Daily
It means so much more than the proverbial “helping the elderly lady cross the street”. Practicing this slogan elevates thoughtful leaders above the crowd of observers.
