Compared against two other resources I checked between meetings, this landed better for a beginner engineer trying to map theory to practice. The IP vs trade secrets decision tree in Chapter 3, especially the spreadsheet example, stuck; translating risk into timelines felt like reviewing a PR, not a lecture. I've liked how it's framed like moving from repo to prod with basic arch and infra constraints, even touching CI gates. Mostly worked, though I wasn't sold on the pricing survey bit and wished for more on early obs, but it's cleared up a few grey areas I had.

The section headers pulled me in, and the material mostly earned it. Module 3’s “Pilot to Paid” checklist stuck, especially the example of turning a beta into a contract; it read like moving a PR from draft to merge and finally hitting prod, which I've lived. Wasn't sold on the lighter pass over infra/CI parallels—wished there was more on post-launch ops once RPS climbs. The way it frames consistency tradeoffs, picking repeatability over flashy reach, landed clean for me.
