Junior Project Engineer

The Junior Project Engineer will support the execution of oil & gas projects, including pipelines and plant installations. The role involves coordination with design, procurement, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per quality and safety standards.

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of oil & gas project lifecycle (EPC)

• Understanding of piping systems, valves, pumps, and static equipment

• Ability to read P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) and engineering drawings

• Familiarity with AutoCAD for layouts and drawings

• Basic knowledge of project planning tools (MS Project / Primavera)

• Understanding of site execution and installation practices

• Knowledge of quality standards and safety protocols in oil & gas

1. Assist in planning and execution of pipeline and plant engineering projects

2. Coordinate with design teams for drawings, layouts, and technical specifications

3. Track project schedules and monitor progress at site

4. Support procurement activities and follow up on materials and equipment

5. Assist in vendor coordination and contractor management

6. Prepare daily/weekly project reports and documentation

7. Ensure compliance with safety standards and site regulations

8. Identify project risks and escalate issues when required

9. Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities
