About this role

What you'll be doing day-to-day.

The Sales and Marketing ( Completions )Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic sales and marketing plans that expand the company’s customer base, strengthen its market presence, and maximize revenue. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product development, and executive leadership, to translate technical value into powerful market propositions. Your expertise will drive engagement with existing customers and attract new business in both upstream oil and gas markets.

What you'll do

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets and grow market share.

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with oil and gas operators, service companies, and government agencies.

  • Kaizen Discussion with technical team for new product development.

  • participation in tenders and understanding requirements of clients.

  • Represent internal and external audits from marketing and complete the requirements for the same.

  • Working on API certifications and maintain required documents of API audits.

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to shape effective sales campaigns.

  • Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, proposal development, negotiation, contract closure, and post-sale support.

  • Maintain and expand relationships with key clients, fostering trust and long-term loyalty.

Marketing Strategy and Brand Positioning

  • Design and implement integrated marketing plans that raise brand awareness and differentiate offerings in a competitive market.

  • Develop marketing collateral, presentations, and digital content tailored to industry stakeholders and decision-makers.

  • Coordinate participation in trade shows, conferences, webinars, and industry events to showcase products and services.

  • Leverage social media, website, and digital platforms to reach target audiences and generate leads.

  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, adjusting tactics to maximize impact and ROI.

  • Technical Product Knowledge

  • Gain and demonstrate strong technical understanding of oil and gas products, solutions, and workflows.

  • Translate technical features into customer benefits and value propositions for different market segments.

  • Work closely with technical teams to develop customized offerings that address client pain points and industry challenges.

  • Customer Relationship Management

  • Manage a portfolio of existing customers, ensuring consistent satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and site visits to nurture relationships and identify growth opportunities.

  • Resolve customer concerns and support clients throughout project delivery and after-sales.

  • Implement CRM systems and maintain accurate records of client interactions, feedback, and opportunities.

  • Market Research and Analysis

  • Conduct research on emerging market trends, regulatory developments, and technological innovations in oil and gas.

  • Prepare reports and recommendations for leadership based on market intelligence.

  • Identify untapped markets and develop entry strategies to capture new business.

  • Collaboration and Teamwork

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in engineering, operations, and finance to align sales and marketing efforts with company goals.

  • Guiding technical team with requirements of tenders and meeting requirements of tender or client.

  • Understanding of quality policies requirements of client and implementing those in company manufacturing.

  • Maintain the documentation of API and the technical support implementation of API.

  • Take responsibility for HSE and maintain the same in manufacturing and technology.

  • Participate in strategy sessions, brainstorming meetings, and project teams to drive business development initiatives.

  • Support and mentor junior staff, sharing best practices and market insights.
