Sourcing Manager – Sheet Metal

·        Develop and implement sourcing strategies for sheet metal parts and fabrication services.

·        Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular reviews.

·        Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers.

·        Build strong relationships with existing vendors to ensure cost-effective and high-quality procurement.

·        Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions to achieve cost savings.

·        Analyze cost breakdowns and seek value-engineering opportunities.

·        Coordinate with quality and engineering teams to ensure that all parts meet required specifications and standards.

·        Participate in supplier audits and quality checks.

·        Work closely with production, design, and planning teams to understand material requirements and ensure timely availability.

·        Monitor supply schedules and manage risks related to delivery timelines.

·        Stay updated on market trends, raw material price fluctuations, and technological advancements in sheet metal fabrication.

·        Use SAP tools for procurement and inventory management.

·        Maintain records and generate reports on sourcing KPIs, cost savings, and supplier performance.
