We are looking for a responsible and safety-driven EHS Engineer (Fresher) to support the implementation and monitoring of environmental, health, and safety practices within our manufacturing facility. The candidate will assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, promoting a safe workplace, and minimizing environmental impact. This role is ideal for fresh graduates interested in industrial safety and sustainability.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in:
Environmental Engineering
Chemical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering (with safety exposure)
Industrial Safety / EHS-related specialization
0–1 year experience (Freshers can apply)
What you'll do
The core responsibilities expected from this role.
Assist in implementing EHS policies, procedures, and safety programs
Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
Support incident investigation and root cause analysis
Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
Monitor and manage waste disposal and pollution control practices
Assist in organizing safety training and awareness programs
Maintain EHS documentation, reports, and compliance records
Coordinate with internal teams to promote a safe working environment
Support emergency preparedness and safety drills
Technical Skills Required
Basic knowledge of EHS standards and regulations
Familiarity with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System)
Understanding of ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety)
Knowledge of hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA)
Awareness of waste management and pollution control
Basic understanding of fire safety and emergency response systems
Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
Basic documentation and reporting skills (MS Excel, Word)
