Principal Pipeline Designer (Subsea – Offshore)

To lead and deliver subsea pipeline design and engineering for offshore projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and client specifications, particularly for ONGC projects.

1. 10–23 years of experience in offshore pipeline engineering

2. Mandatory experience in ONGC subsea pipeline projects

3. Strong knowledge of DNV-ST-F101 and offshore design standards

4. Hands-on experience with pipeline design and analysis tools

5. Willingness to relocate to Mumbai for 6 months

• Lead design and detailing of subsea offshore pipelines

• Perform pipeline wall thickness design as per DNV-ST-F101 standards

• Conduct route selection and shore approach design

• Carry out pipeline stability and free span analysis

• Perform stress analysis for risers, spools, and crossings using CAESAR II / Autopipe

• Execute engineering design using tools such as SAGE 3D and OFFPIPE

• Perform advanced simulations using Orcaflex, Mathcad, and ABAQUS (preferred)

• Ensure compliance with DNV, API, and client specifications

• Provide technical support during procurement of pipeline materials and components

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and vendors

• Support project execution during Mumbai deployment phase

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with AGA Level 2 / Level 3 analysis

• Exposure to lateral buckling analysis using ABAQUS

• Experience in offshore installation and constructability
