Junior purchase executive

We are looking for a motivated Junior Purchase Executive to support procurement activities for our fabrication and manufacturing operations. The role involves sourcing materials, coordinating with vendors, processing purchase orders, and ensuring timely availability of materials for production.

1. Assist in procuring raw materials, fabrication materials, consumables, tools, and production requirements.

2. Source materials such as MS/SS plates, sheets, pipes, angles, channels, sections, fasteners, and welding consumables.

3. Identify potential vendors and maintain relationships with existing suppliers.

4. Collect vendor quotations and prepare quotation/rate comparisons.

5. Assist in price negotiation and coordination regarding quality, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

6. Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.

7. Follow up with vendors for timely delivery and closure of pending orders.

8. Coordinate with Production, PPC, Quality, Stores, and Accounts teams.

9. Verify material specifications, quantities, and delivery requirements.

10. Maintain purchase records, quotations, vendor details, comparative statements, and PO documentation.

11. Support urgent purchase requirements to avoid production delays.

12. Assist with MIS, cost comparison, and alternate vendor development.
