Robotic Safety

The Robotic Safety course provides comprehensive knowledge of safety principles and practices for working with industrial robots and automated systems. Participants learn about common hazards associated with robotic equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic risks, while understanding robot safety standards, regulations, risk assessment, and safe operating procedures. The course covers safeguarding methods such as safety fences, interlocks, light curtains, safety scanners, and emergency-stop systems. Participants gain an understanding of safe robot installation, commissioning, programming, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting practices. The course also introduces collaborative robot safety, restricted spaces, protective stops, and safety-rated monitoring systems. It explains Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), energy isolation, and safe maintenance procedures for robotic cells. Participants learn how to identify potential hazards and implement effective risk-reduction measures to create safer automated work environments. The course further covers safety documentation, inspection procedures, operator training, and emergency response practices. Practical knowledge gained through the course enables participants to improve workplace safety, minimize operational risks, and ensure reliable operation of robotic automation systems.
