Pneumatics & Electropneumatics

Pneumatics & Electropneumatics is designed to provide a practical understanding of compressed-air systems and their industrial applications. The course covers the fundamentals of pneumatic power, air generation, preparation, distribution, and control. Participants learn about pneumatic components such as compressors, air receivers, valves, actuators, cylinders, and FRL units. The course introduces pneumatic circuit design, symbols, sequencing, and basic troubleshooting methods. Electropneumatics concepts are covered by integrating electrical control elements with pneumatic systems. Participants learn about solenoid valves, sensors, switches, relays, timers, and control circuits. The course explains how to design and interpret pneumatic and electropneumatic circuit diagrams. Practical approaches to system operation, fault identification, maintenance, and safety are also discussed. Applications in automation, manufacturing, assembly, material handling, and industrial machinery are explored. By completing the course, participants can develop a strong foundation for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and designing basic pneumatic and electropneumatic systems.
