Aerospace Manufacturing Processes

This webinar explores aerospace manufacturing processes, with a focus on product and process characteristics within the aerospace industry. It highlights the key differences between aircraft and automotive manufacturing and introduces the fundamental technologies used in aerospace assembly, including standard methods for assembling aircraft structures.

The session was delivered by Daniel Fantoni CEng FIMechE, a Manufacturing Engineer and University of Cambridge graduate. His professional experience includes work at Alenia Spazio in Turin on space telescopes, CFRP structures, ISS components, and re-entry capsules. He has also served as Project Manager for the Leonardo/CIM4.0 Nacelle Manufacturing Innovation Project.
