We are looking for a skilled Welding QC Inspector to ensure quality control and compliance in welding and fabrication activities. The role involves inspection, testing, and verification of welding processes in accordance with industry standards and project specifications.

Ability to handle multiple inspection activities independently

Experience in industrial / fabrication projects preferred

Requirements

Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Minimum 2+ years of experience in welding / fabrication

At least 1+ year of experience in QC inspection and testing

Good communication skills (Proficient in English – written & verbal)

Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System

Technical Knowledge

Thorough knowledge of codes and standards:

ASME Section V & IX

ASME B31.3

API 1104

AWS D1.1

Knowledge of NDT Level II methods: RT, UT, PT, MT (Certification preferred)

Hands-on experience with inspection tools and testing equipment

Perform inspection of welding and fabrication work as per approved drawings and standards

Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with project specifications and codes

Carry out and supervise NDT activities (RT, UT, PT, MT) as per requirements

Review welding procedures (WPS), PQRs, and welder qualifications

Identify defects and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented

Maintain inspection reports, records, and documentation as per ISO 9001:2015 standards

Use inspection tools and equipment (traditional and advanced) for quality assessment

Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and QA/QC personnel

Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards at site
