The Design and Testing Engineer is responsible for the development, design, and validation of completion tools used in oil and gas wells. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure tools meet performance, safety, and reliability standards for both conventional and unconventional well environments.

Design Responsibilities:
Develop and design completion tools such as openhole packers, safety valves, and flow control devices.
Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and models using CAD software.
Collaborate with product development teams to innovate and improve tool performance.
Ensure designs meet industry standards and client-specific requirements.
Conduct design reviews and risk assessments.
Testing Responsibilities:
Plan and execute testing protocols for new and existing completion tools.
Perform lab and field testing to validate tool performance under simulated downhole conditions.
Analyze test data and prepare detailed reports with recommendations.
Troubleshoot tool failures and implement design improvements.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during testing.
