We are seeking an experienced CAD Specialist, Architect, or Engineer to join our team as a Part-Time AutoCAD Trainer. In this role, you will design and deliver practical, engaging training sessions for engineering students, draftsmen, architects, and industry professionals. Your goal will be to teach core 2D drafting, 3D modeling fundamentals, layer management, and industry-standard documentation practices using AutoCAD.

What you'll do

The core responsibilities expected from this role.

Course Delivery: Conduct interactive online or classroom-based training modules on 2D drafting, 3D modeling, layout generation, and plotting using AutoCAD.
Curriculum & Content Development: Prepare, organize, and update course materials, practical drawing assignments, architectural/engineering case studies, and assessment quizzes.
Hands-on Guidance: Teach fundamental and advanced features, including precision drawing tools, layer management, blocks/dynamic blocks, external references (Xrefs), dimensioning styles, and sheet set management.
Standards & Workflow: Impart industry best practices for drawing organization, CAD standards, scaling, title block creation, and PDF/DWG export workflows.
Troubleshooting & Mentorship: Guide trainees through complex drawing errors, geometry constraints, display settings, and command shortcuts.
Project Evaluation: Review student assignments, evaluate final design projects, and provide constructive feedback to accelerate skill development.
