Course details

This introductory Circuit Theory course explains the basic ideas of electrical circuits in a clear and simple way. It begins with an overview of signals and systems to help learners understand how electrical quantities behave over time. The course then defines what circuits and networks are, and how they are used in real-life electrical and electronic systems. You will learn the difference between circuit analysis and circuit synthesis in an easy, step-by-step manner. Important electrical elements such as resistors, capacitors, and inductors are discussed with practical examples. The professor explains fundamental laws like Ohm’s Law and Kirchhoff’s Laws to build a strong foundation. Various network theorems are introduced to simplify complex circuit problems. The course also covers how circuits respond to different inputs. Emphasis is placed on understanding concepts rather than memorizing formulas. By the end, learners will feel confident analyzing and understanding basic electrical networks.
