TEXTILE MANUFACTURING

The Textile Manufacturing course provides an in-depth understanding of the end-to-end textile production process, starting from raw fibers to finished textile products. The course integrates principles of fiber science, yarn manufacturing, fabric formation, wet processing, and finishing technologies used in modern textile industries.

The course begins with an overview of natural and man-made fibers, their properties, and selection criteria for different applications. Learners then study spinning processes, including fiber preparation, drafting, twisting, and yarn formation. The course covers fabric manufacturing technologies such as weaving, knitting, and nonwoven production, explaining machine components, production parameters, and fabric structures.

Further modules focus on wet processing, including preparation, dyeing, printing, and finishing operations. Emphasis is placed on process control, quality assurance, productivity improvement, and sustainability in textile manufacturing. The course also introduces modern manufacturing systems, automation, and Industry 4.0 concepts applied to textile production.

By the end of the course, learners gain a holistic understanding of textile manufacturing operations and the skills needed to manage and optimize textile production systems.
